GUNSLINGER – multiple champion of the World Australian legendary fighter John Wayne Parr is not anymore going to retire this year.
Today on Facebook Wayne posted great news for his fans and supporters :
‘ Retirement is on hold, having to much fun training and fighting and love the life style way too much. Plus what the hell was I thinking, if I retire then I have to get a job, my allergies start playing up just thinking of working. You can’t teach lazy, you have to be born that way ‘.
During the current season he have already KO’d Zambidis and Mostafa Abdollahi. His next two fights are versus Frank Giorgi on September 3 and against Sofokleous October 22.
John Wayne Parr – the Man who made Australia famous announced his retirement plans on January 18 – 2011 meant to be his last year of fighting. Today, almost eight months later the plan was changed and aussie muaythai icon will keep fighting!
We all are impatiently waiting for Blessed With Venom JWP’s documentary movie to be released this year which meant to include the biggest and most wanted fights and events in JWP’s life. Though I now am sure the story is not ended. With a keen of continuing his fighter’s career Wayne will please us with many more great challenges and wins for sure.
This can make a little intrigue too, as Mr Zambidis is kinda claiming Wayne to fight him again because of something happened in their last fight and this something is known by JWP and Zambidis only. Strange to say that cause obviously we all know what happened and Wayne’s reply was quite open and simple : ‘ No, I think 4000 people seen me knock you the F*ck out and now you lost face. ‘ Though I don’t think JWP will be spending more time on Zambidis as obviously the last wants to talk more than to fight . Oh well…
By the way Wayne, for ‘ if I retire then I have to get a job ‘ – Darren Curovic and myself are planning to retire since quite a bit of a time and can’t wait for this to be honest . We can always book a place for you too in our retirement village, just let us know. F… work.
