Fightmag.net: Do you consider this fight as one of the biggest in your career so far?
Rob Powdrill: Yep, this will be my biggest fight by far, being a World title.
Fightmag.net: What can you say / know about your opponent Francis Tavares?
Rob Powdrill: I’ve seen one of his videos and noticed he kicks a lot, but they seem to be more scoring kicks not power kicks. I could be wrong, we’ll see.
Fightmag.net: How are you going to fight him to deliver the win?
Rob Powdrill: I’m gonna fight him like I do with anyone, fast & powerful strikes. Choppen ‘n Bomben.
Fightmag.net: Do you expect a knock out ending of the fight?
Rob Powdrill: I am hoping for the KO finish, but not in the first round, I want a war, I want to look smashed so when I look in the mirror afterwards I now I earned the strap the hard way.

Rob Powdrill: Um, break a leg.
Francis TAVARES is a 27-years-old Frenchman Francis Tavares who is a World and European kickboxing champion, trained shoulder to shoulder with the Bigger’s Better 8 winner Nicolas Wambas. He competes under kickboxing, full contact and K-1 rules.
Fightmag.net: Do you consider this fight as one of the biggest in your career so far?
Francis Tavares: Not I don’t think that this fight will be “the fight of my life”. I am WAKO Pro European and World Champion. I’ve fight against greatest champions like Yohan Lidon, Gianni Sofokleous, Nikolas Bosic and more…. I’m sure, I expect a tough fight. I saw his videos he is robust, but if the fight will be hard for me, its will be hard for him too.
Fightmag.net : What can you say / know about your opponent Rob Powdrill?
Francis Tavares: Before our future fight I did not know him. I looked videos online, it looks to hit hard, he have good and strong lows kicks . I think that will be a tough fight, but I will be ready, be sure.
Fightmag.net : How are you going to fight him to deliver the win?
Francis Tavares: We have developed a strategy, we’ll see if it works the day of the fight, but I do not intend to lose and I’ll be ready to go the distance.
Fightmag.net : Do you expect a knock out ending of the fight?
Francis Tavares: I’ll go to fight him and adjusting my boxing to his boxing. I’ll not looking for to knock him out, but if he makes a mistake, be sure I will put him KO. I have the power to do so with english boxing or with my kicks.

Francis Tavares: I’ll be ready physically. I hope he will be too. I wish that we make a good fight together for this great event. I wish him good luck.
