Australian World champion Steve Moxon will fight Maseh Nuristani at the Rise of Power which will be held on Saturday July 28 in Melbourne.
Steve Moxon trains 6 days a week with a lot of running and strength work. He has just moved back from Sydney to Ballarat to train out of Barbarian Muay Thai with a great team including Dip as his trainer – old trainer of John Wayne Parr.
Two names Steve reminds to date when he is asked about the hardest & most memorized fight – “Frankie Giorgie was pretty hard especially with the change in rules at the last minute. Capper was very tough also!”
With the final goal to compete at K-1 World Max, Steve has a will to challenge Fadi Merza and if given the opportunity to fight Zambidis – “Would be a dream to fight!”
His next fight will be against Commonwealth champion Maseh Nuristani at Rise of Power promoted by Powerplay Gym.
“Maseh is a HUGE hitter but in my opinion can only go hard for the first round or so. My training and preparation is a bit more strategic and I’m walking into the ring with a smart game plan.”
Few words to family, friends & supporters – “I’d like to thank Joe Nader from Powerplay Promotions. I’m very happy with given the opportunity to work with one of the most professional organizations in the sport. A huge thank you to my girlfriend Kellie, my family, Athletes With Attitude, Counter Fight and Hewlard Packard. Check out www.stevemoxon.com.
