On Monday August 27 Fightmag.net will be celebrating its 7th anniversary 2005-2012.
Originally French-based Fightmag.net was found on August 27, 2005 created by Parviz Design Web Studio & run by Mr Jerome Loisel. With the help of WKN, Within a year Fightmag.net got widely developed all over France and also became the main informative fight source for all francophonie.
Late 2006 having several issue Mr Jerome Loisel could not continiue working at Fightmag.net and the project was redeligated to Mr Parviz Iskenderov.
Being re-structured Fightmag.net became international fight portal online run in English language from Belarus. It was hightlighting all major World’s events in kickboxing, muaythai, mma & boxing.
Late 2008 – begin 2009, during the second venture of Mr Parviz Iskenderov to Australia, it was decided to develope and base Fightmag.net there.
One of the first big write ups for Australia was an interview with young & perspective Alex Moppa James who took the bronze at World championships ’09 in Thailand (Read interview here).
The following year 2010 there were two massive shows promoted by Darren Curovic where John Wayne Parr fought Dmitri Valent for WKN World title at Domination 4 & Nathan Carnage Corbett defeated Pavel Zhuravlev becoming a new WKN Heavyweight champion at Domination 5.
Fightmag.net was the major advertising source online which also gave it a good push in development & progress.
Middle 2010 Mr Jean-Christophe Courreges, Mr Stephane Cabrera & Mr Jean-Phillipe Lustyk started a brand new project – 8 men boxing tournament Bigger’s Better broadcast live on Eurosport around the World. Fightmag.net was proudly nominated as an exclusive media source online.
To date Bigger’s Better is the number one live fight tv-show in Europe which gives opportunities to fighters from different styles to try themselves under the rules of classical boxing being internationally televised.
Fightmag.net has been widely expanding its activities in Australia developing the network, providing exposure and recognition to Australian athletes and promoters on the international level, advertising, supporting & managing fighters as Rob Powdrill, Alex Moppa James, Danial Mini T Williams, Taylor Harvey & many others.
Being top supported by WKN (World Kickboxing Network) as an official fight magazine online, Fightmag.net has been covering & promoting all World-class events internationally, along with the fight nights sanctioned by WKN promoted in Australia & all other top fight nights around the country, just few to name will be Big-8 Muay Thai in Belarus, ProKick shows in Northern Ireland, Loyalty & Respect in Cyprus, Kings of Kombat & Powerplay Promotions in Melbourne, Domination & Epic shows in Perth, Total Carnage in Gold Coast…
Fightmag.net proudly supports Total Carnage – fight night promotions which brought Australian muaythai on several levels up, by collaboration of number one Australian entertainment specialists Cross Promotions, Jupiter’s Hotel & Casino and Mr Ed Zouroudis. On April 7, 2012 Nathan Corbett defended his WKN World title against Stephane Susperregui in Gold Coast which was attended by around 4K spectaculars along with broadcast on Fox Sports audience. The next show will be held on September 1 headlined by Carnage-McKinnon rematch which is the most anticipated bout since six years. The show looks being sold-out already.
To date Fightmag.net is recognized as the number one international fight magazine online from Australia and it is also been called as the ‘CNN of Kickboxing’.
