Farid Khider is the only Frenchman titled in all disciplines of “feet-fists fighting” : kickboxing, muaythai, full contact, savate and english boxing. With the record of 208 fights KHIDER achieved Intercontinental title in Mexico, World championship in Manchester and Birmingham, European title in Belarus, K-1 World Max in Japan, multiple champion of France .
Jean-Charles Skarbowsky is a former 3-times Muay Thai Champion of Europe and he has been one of the best farangs who have fought in Thailand where he also fought Australian legend John Wayne Parr in 2004. Skarbowsky also appeared on the twelfth season of the American MMA reality TV show – The Ultimate Fighter – where he was coaching muaythai on Georges St-Pierre’s team. FARID KHIDER vs JC SKARBOWSKY FIRST FIGHT The first fight took place at Palais des Sports Thiais, France on May 7, 2005 where Farid Khider took a first round via spinning-back elbow followed by right hand which caused the cut and referee had to stop the challenge. FARID KHIDER vs JC SKARBOWSKY SECOND FIGHT Everybody was waiting for this rematch and a year later on April 8, 2006 in Paris KHIDER – SKARBOWSKY rematch . Apparently Khider was winning the fighting landing more hits, being more active, where Skarbowsky was pretty much ‘static’. However the judges saw it differently and called it as a draw, probably due to Khider’s Savate style of fighting. Related
