Saturday, January 29 – Torino, Italy – Best of Thailand WKN World champion SUDSAKORN fighting K-1 World Max champion Giorgio PETROSYAN .

Few weeks ago it was announced Sudsakorn would face Fabio Pinca – the Thai Fight winner from France . It would be a muay thai rules bout where Sudsakorn could pay Pinca back for that loss at Nuit des Champions in 2008 . Well , later on , due to some issues , the fight was canceled .

Originally Thai Sudsakorn is now mostly based in Europe where he became quite famous winning such big names of Europe as Farid Khider , Andrei Kulebin , Ruslan Kushnirenko , and he is a quite big show-man also . Sudsakorn is a World champion and BIG-8 muaythai WKN World Grand Prix winner .

Armenian-Italian Giorgio Petrosyan aka Doctor is a current K-1 World Max champion . This title he won twice in 2009 and 2010 , and he is also WKN Intercontinental middleweight muaythai champion . Petrosyan beat Yoshihiro Sato , Zambidis , Albert Kraus , Andy Souwer , Dzhabar Askerov … and he had a draw in a fight with Buakaw Por. Pramuk .

Lately Petrosyan fights mostly K-1 rules only , where clinch and elbows are banned . Sudsakorn is a top-class muay thai fighter where he is using his thai elbows quite well .

The coming-up bout in Torino between these two will be under K-1 rules as well . So it seems to be more suitable for Petrosyan , where Sudsakorn will need to use few other things of his arsenal .

What is quite interesting as well , is that Sudsakorn is fighting Kem Sitsongpeenong in Bangkok – 2 weeks before the fight vs Petrosyan . Kem KO’d Sudsakorn in September 2009 at Lumpinee stadium in Thailand , so it seems to be a revenge too , where Sudsakorn should go hard this time .

Petrosyan has a fight booked also . His opponent will be Brazilian Cosmo Alexandre . But it will happen later this year – March 12 .

The show in general – THAI BOXE MANIA – promoted by WKN representative in Italy Mr. Carlo Barbuto , who always brings the best fighters from all around the Planet to compete versus the best of Italy .
